SKIKT makes considered clothing for people who would rather own less and wear it longer.
The Brand
SKIKT was founded on a simple idea: a wardrobe should be quiet, useful and built to last. We design in small collections, revisit the pieces that work and retire the ones that do not. Nothing is made to be replaced next season.
The name is Norwegian for a layer — the way a garment sits against the next, and the way a wardrobe builds over time.
How We Work
We work directly with a small group of mills and makers, most of whom we have partnered with since our first collection. Long relationships let us specify fabric at the yarn stage, correct fit across sizes rather than at the sample size alone, and hold production to a standard we can stand behind.

Responsibility
We publish the things we can measure and stay quiet about the things we cannot. Our current focus is fibre sourcing, water use in dyeing, and extending the life of what we have already made through repair and resale.
