Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who We Are
SKIKT AS, Prinsens gate 12, 0152 Oslo, Norway, is the data controller for personal data collected through skikt.com. Contact our privacy team at privacy@skikt.com.
What We Collect
- Account and order data — name, email, delivery and billing address, phone number, order history.
- Payment data — handled by our payment provider. We receive a token and the last four digits, never the full card number.
- Usage data — pages viewed, device and browser, and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Marketing preferences — whether you have subscribed, and what you have opened or clicked.
Why We Use It
To fulfil your orders and handle returns (performance of a contract); to meet accounting and consumer-law obligations (legal obligation); to secure the site, prevent fraud and improve the service (legitimate interests); and to send marketing where you have asked for it (consent).
Sharing
We share data with carriers, payment providers, our email platform and our hosting and analytics providers, strictly as needed to run the service. We do not sell personal data. Where a provider is outside the EEA we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.
How Long We Keep It
Order records are kept for five years to meet Norwegian bookkeeping law. Account data is kept until you delete the account. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent, plus three years.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to privacy@skikt.com — we respond within thirty days. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
Changes
We post material changes here and, where the change affects you directly, email account holders before it takes effect.
